About the Event
 Charlene Marie Muhammad, CNS, LD, C-IAYT has been embracing the spirit of herbal medicine for over 20 years. She cultivated her practice within her family and community, nurturing her two sons with herbs since birth. Charlene’s practice is predicated on formal Master’s Level training as well as her own personal use of plants and food, giving her hands-on relationship and knowledge of the successes and challenges that herbal remedies can provide.  Charlene is also an early childhood educator, childbirth Doula, and certified Yoga therapist. A graduate of Cornell University, Charlene holds a Master of Science Degree in Herbal Medicine from Maryland University for Integrative Health, Certification by the Board of Nutrition Specialists (CBNS) and is a Licensed Dietitian for the State of Maryland.
