The PEACES Collective is a 501(c) non-profit organization. We use art, creativity and service to help build thriving communities through economics and education. Our relationships with our customers are more than transactional and go beyond financial exchanges into multi-directional community investment. We do this by providing quality handcrafted and upcycled products, exemplary customer service, and community involvement. We call it "wholistic retail™."

OUR TEAM
Iqrama Muhammad
Founder/Director
Iqrama Muhammad is the owner of PEACES, a local clothing, accessory, and home goods company whose goal is to create sustainable markets and systems for handcrafted and recycled goods. In 2018, she founded and is the current director of The PEACES Collective, the goal of these companies is to contribute to human development through experiential learning, economics, and education.
Karen Freeman
Director of Operations
Karen has over 25 years of information technology experience in progressively demanding positions with a successful track record in managing innovative, cost-effective programs. Karen retired from the Senior Executive Service (SES) of the federal government and now serves as an Executive Advisor to several companies that provide services to the federal sector. Most recently, Karen is using her talent and skills in operations to support the non-profit sector as a member of The PEACES Collective where she supports the team in keeping it all running.
Cherie Harris
Social Media Manager
Originally a New York native, Cherie Harris is now based in Los Angeles after relocating from Atlanta, GA. Her long career in the corporate sector began with her first summer job at only sixteen. In 2019 she decided to leap out on faith and start her dream business Corporate-Concierge, utilizing her 25+ years of experience and skillsets to pour into startup businesses and help entrepreneurs thrive. She provides digital marketing services, website design, and 1:1 business coaching to help entrepreneurs stay the course and succeed. Her motto is, “Just because you’re small, you don’t have to look like it.”
Petra Belopotocká
Virtual Administrative Assistant
Petra is a passionate and growth-focused professional with multicultural experience delivering expert-level support to C-level executives. She possesses substantial experience in coordinating, planning, and facilitating administrative operations to optimize operational efficiency. An adaptable lifelong learner, she skillfully prioritizes tasks, assumes ownership, and solves problems in ambiguous, constantly evolving business landscapes. She is also a creative maker who is delighted to be a part of The PEACES Collective nonprofit organization.

Partner
Shannon Stott is an Improvisor based in Austin, TX. She has been performing and teaching Improv and its benefits to theater students and corporate clients since 2001. Shannon utilizes improv as a tool to change lives both on and off the stage, encouraging her students to carry these tools into their theaters, workplaces, and homes.
Yinka Freeman
Partner
From a young age, Yinka has shown a true passion for event planning, coordination & design. With a keen eye for detail, she brings over 15 years of national and international hospitality experience, restaurant & catering management, on top of her extensive knowledge of sales & event planning. She is the owner and founder of Triple Pocket Events, a full-service event-planning company based in San Diego, California. Yinka’s previous experience includes the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, Hilton Hotels, Wyndham Hotel Group, and Behind the Scenes Catering & Events.
