About the Event

Yasim Butler

Food is life. I have loved food since I was a baby. My mother tells a story about when I was six months old in daycare. Whenever it was feeding time, I would cry for hours until you fed me as much as I WANTED to eat.

My love of food created my pandemic project of making cooking content under the banner of GoodCub3d Kitchen. GoodCub3d stands for making #GoodFood at a #GoodPrice to promote a #GoodLife. My current culinary goal is to make the perfect vegan ice cream at home. You can find me on social media @goodcubed on Instagram and @goodcub3d everywhere else.

I’ll leave you with this, always thank the #GoodLord for #GoodFood and #GoodTimes; all that good is #GoodCub3d

What sets me aside from other mass producers and bakers especially when it comes to vegan and gluten free products is that I don't simply add excessive amounts of sugar to make something taste "good" or "bring out flavor". Real fruits, grains, and herbs can speak for themselves.

Decadent Truth also thinks about your health and mind. I want clients to understand what it is they're eating, while enjoying real tasty ingredients. A snippet purely about myself, I'm a full time home baker now, and chef, wife, daughter and sister!

Brittany Titus and her Fiancé Levar Mitchell created Cooking With Locs and Love. It was inspired by three significant milestones we have been on together: from the idea of going through our Loc journey, our Love journey,  and our exploration of love of flavors and food.  We wanted to bring the three experiences together in a tangible way to share with kindred spirits, lovers of good food, and wholesome dishes.
