Calling all Walk Lovers! We are seeking team captains to encourage folks to walk locally and safely around the country.

The PEACES Collective is hosting its first annual Juneteenth 5K Walk for Wellness. This inaugural walk is a virtual event: Saturday and Sunday, June 19-20, 2021. Our goals for TPC Juneteenth 5K Walk for Wellness are: to strengthen the community; and support our commitment to health and well-being. The 5K also serves as a fundraiser for the PEACES Collective's Wisdom, Wellness & Wealth education program. (see link below)

Your participation as team captain includes:

· Free Registration for the Walk

· Captain Tee Shirt

· Water Bottle

· Spotlight on the PEACES Collective Social Media Page.

Your duties as team captain include:

· Recruiting 10-12 participants

· Posting TPC Juneteenth 5K activities on your social media

In addition, our community 5K virtual training camp starts Sunday, May 16, 2021, and includes a calendar of daily activities to support walking readiness and step-by-step guidelines to accomplish the 10,000 steps necessary to successfully complete the 5K.
